1. Not medical advice, and not for emergencies
HealthyWays helps you keep track of health and wellness information, and share it with providers you choose. It does not provide medical diagnosis, treatment or advice, and it does not replace care from a qualified professional. Always ask a licensed healthcare professional about medical decisions. In an emergency, call 911 or your local emergency number. Messages in the app are not monitored around the clock.
2. Your account
- Give accurate information, and keep it up to date.
- Keep your sign-in details and two-factor codes private. You are responsible for activity on your account.
- Tell us right away at bilal@healthywaysapp.com if you think someone else has used your account.
- You must be old enough to agree to these terms where you live.
3. Patients
You decide which providers you connect with and what each can see, and you can change that at any time. Information you share with a provider may become part of their own records. Their use of it outside HealthyWays is their responsibility.
4. Providers
- You must hold the licence or certification you declare, keep it current, and complete our verification before you can see any patient information.
- Before you can see patient information, you must sign the provider Terms of Service and the Business Associate Agreement in the app. Those agreements apply in addition to these terms.
- Use patient information only for the patient’s care, only within what the patient has shared, and in line with the laws that apply to you.
- You remain responsible for your own clinical judgment, and for keeping your own medical records.
5. Acceptable use
You agree not to:
- Access, or try to access, another person’s account or information without permission.
- Pretend to be someone else, or misrepresent your credentials.
- Upload content that is unlawful or harmful, or that you don’t have the right to share.
- Interfere with the Service or its security, or use automated means to access it.
6. Your content
You keep ownership of the information and content you add. You allow us to store, process and show it as needed to run the Service for you and for the people you choose to share it with, as described in our Privacy Policy.
7. Other services
Some features rely on other services you choose to use, such as Apple Health, Sign in with Google or Sign in with Apple. Their own terms apply to them.
8. Ending your use
You can stop using the Service and delete your account at any time. We may suspend or close accounts that break these terms, or to protect patients, providers or the Service.
9. Disclaimers
The Service is provided “as is” and “as available”. To the extent the law allows, we do not promise that it will always be available or free of errors.
10. Limitation of liability
To the extent the law allows, HealthyWays is not liable for indirect, incidental, special or consequential damages, or for loss of data, arising from your use of the Service. Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be limited by law.
11. Changes to these terms
If we change these terms, we will post the new version here and update the effective date. If a change is significant, we will tell you in the app before it takes effect.
12. Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of New York, except where the law where you live says otherwise.
